Riders arrived in their own boats with only their immediate family on board (per COVID Minnesota boating guidelines).  They filmed themselves and bought the footage of their runs (three fall limit on the spot) back to shore.  Each rider's footage was cut in to a pro-level highlight reel.  80% of their score was tied to their runs (standard subjective judging criteria) and 20% was tied to the number of views their videos received on social media
